State of Geomorphological Research 2027

We are pleased to invite you to the 25th State of Geomorphological Research, the main meeting of the Czech geomorphological community. The 2027 conference is organised jointly by the Czech Association of Geomorphologists and the Association of Slovak Geomorphologists at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, for which it is the 14th scientific conference.

The conference will take place at Kolštejn Castle above the village of Branná, in the heart of the Hrubý Jeseník Mountains. The programme also includes a pre-conference workshop for students and early career researchers, oral and poster sessions, and a conference dinner.

We welcome contributions from all fields of geomorphology and look forward to meeting colleagues from Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and beyond. Students and early career researchers are especially encouraged to present their work.
